In March 2020, the Australian Department of Health developed a number of training modules to support community workers in the health and aged care sector to protect themselves and the people they are caring for from infection with COVID-19.
Since then, Holistic Nursing has made it a mandatory requirement that all independent support people must complete the COVID 19 infection control training module to continue to provide support services to all clients/ participants with Holistic.
The module takes approximately 30 minutes, with a questionnaire at the end, and a certificate of completion is available online at COVID-19 infection control training.

The Commission has developed a range of resources and provides advice on on how to reduce the risk of Coronavirus (COVID-19) exposure and infection. These resources are available for Australian health service organisations, healthcare professionals and consumers.
